Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the daughter of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8]) and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate developers. Her grandfather had come to Greece in 1904, and her grandmother was of Irish origin. Her parents were married in 1976. Psaki also has Polish ancestry.Psaki graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000, she graduated from the College of William & Mary with an education in English and sociology. She is an active part of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki was an athlete in the backstroke on the William & Mary Tribe's athletic team for two years in succession. Psaki started her professional career in 2001, working on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki was also communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until 2006. MSNBC announced that Psaki would be an analyst for the 2022 United States election and the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will also host a show for MSNBC's Peacock streaming channel.
